Elio's Father's Speech at the End of Call Me By Your Name!

If you haven't seen Call Me By Your Name starring the ever charismatic Timothee Chalamet and Armie Hammer, you can now own a piece of it by ordering it on DVD and via digital copy on March 13!

Here's the wonderful speech of Mr. Perlman's (Michael Stuhlbarg) to his son Elio during the latter part of the film!

via Sony Pictures Classics

When you least expect it, Nature has cunning ways of finding our weakest spot. Just remember: I am here. Right now you may not want to feel anything. Perhaps you never wished to feel anything. And perhaps it’s not to me that you’ll want to speak about these things. But feel something you obviously did.You had a beautiful friendship. Maybe more than a friendship. And I envy you. In my place, most parents would hope the whole thing goes away, to pray that their sons land on their feet. But I am not such a parent. In your place, if there is pain, nurse it. And if there is a flame, don’t snuff it out. Don’t be brutal with it. We rip out so much of ourselves to be cured of things faster, that we go bankrupt by the age of thirty and have less to offer each time we start with someone new. But to make yourself feel nothing so as not to feel anything ― what a waste!

Binibining Pilipinas 2018 Top 5 Favorites For The Miss Universe Philippines!

The Binibining Pilipinas Finals Night is still almost two months from today but the heat of the pageant came in early even before the summer kicks in! This season of the biggest national pageant in the country is seemingly becoming a bloodbath the way the 2011 and 2013 queens battled for supremacy!

Amongst the 40 candidates this year, there are 5 ladies who are firmly becoming favorites for the Miss Universe Philippines crown. We listed them down based on the hype, popularity, connection and overall appeal to become Rachel Peters' successor.

Catriona Gray

Former Miss World Philippines and Miss World 2013 Third Runner-Up Catriona Gray is the girl everyone is predicting to snatched the most coveted title of the pageant. She's got legions of fans all around the world rooting for her and clearly, if she can't nail the national pageant - then we all know whose fault it would be.

Eva Patalinjug
This Cebuana-beauty and former Mutya ng Pilipinas winner is not only beautiful but quite charming as well. She is by far, the strongest competition for Miss Gray in our humble opinion.

Karen Gallman
There's something enchanting about Karen that makes the Latin pageant fans crazy over her. This 2012 veteran didn't stand a chance during Janine Tugonon's glory year but she came back this year fiercer than ever!

Michele Gumabao
Volleyball superstar Michelle Gumabao is slowly and surely gaining momentum by becoming the biggest spoiler for Eva and Catriona. There's one scenario we're eyeing for her - Win the Miss Universe Philippines crown or go home empty-handed.

Muriel Orais
She is the underdog amongst these five beauts but her beauty is just undeniable. Many are predicting her to peak at the right time and demolish the competition!
