TOP 10
10. Lovi Poe – I really thought that she’d place higher than 10 this year cuz’ the girl’s oozing with everything! Thanks to “the king’s” bloodline!

9. Jennylyn Mercado – I’m not really a big fan of her so I was really surprised by her placement, though, she’s looking so gorgeous these days. Lucky girl!

8. Bella Padilla – her FHM controversial cover must’ve help her place this high. This girl has got a lot of things to offer in the future, that I’m sure. Congrats Bella!

7. Jackie Rice – I was hoping she’d clinch either #2 or the top spot for Jackie became a real femme fatale in the last couple of years – maybe next year heh?

6. Ellen Adarna.

5.  Marian Rivera – I’m happy for my girl staying in the elite five though I would’ve wanted her to be on top again, I’m happy for her placement J

4. Cristine Reyes. Bad or good publicity is still a publicity.

3. Solenn Heussaff – I never thought that she’s this popular with the boys!

2. Angel Locsin – fanbased and fanboys votes unite!

The Sexiest is…

SAM PINTO! Yay!

For the second year in a row, Sam is clearly the female boss of this land!!! Whoot hoot!!!
Congratulations Sam!

Graduation Speech Of Jessica From The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

“When we were five, they asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up. Our answers were things like, Astronaut, President or in my case, a Princess. When we were ten, they asked again.  We answered rock star, cowboy or in my case, a gold medalist. But now that we’ve grown up, they wanted a serious answer. Well, how about this - who the hell knows? This isn’t the time to make hard and fast decisions, this is the time to make mistakes. Take the wrong train and get stuck somewhere. Fall in love – a lot. Major in Philosophy because there is no way to make a career out of that. Change your mind and change it again because nothing’s permanent. So make as many mistakes as you can. That way someday when they asked what we wanna be, we won’t have to guess – we’ll know.”

I really love Jessica's (Anna Kendrick) speech during the graduation ceremony shown at the third installment of the Twilight Saga. I especially loved the part about making many mistakes as you can and changing your mind again and again because nothing's permanent. It's true. Sometimes, we have to learn something the hard way. We have to commit mistakes for us to realize something. Life's too short, so you might as well make the most out of it!

Who's Playing Finnick Odair?

So I just finished reading the rest of The Hunger Games trilogy (Catching Fire and Mockingjay), and seemingly, one of the most compelling characters in the second book of the highly successful The Hunger Games Series is the tribute from District 4, Finnick Odair. I feel that this character would be the most anticipated character on next year's release of the film sequel. True enough, when I searched the net about the possible candidates – many actors were already being considered by the fans of the book to play the coveted role (though there is no confirmation yet from Lionsgate)

Who is Finnick Odair?

Finnick Odair was a male victor from District 4. He was known for being the victor of the 65th Hunger Games and a survivor of the 3rd Quarter Quell, also known as the 75th Hunger Games.

Physical appearance

Physically, he is described as being extremely handsome. He is tall, muscular, and athletic, with tan skin, bronze-colored hair, and "incredible" sea-green eyes, making him very popular with people in the Capitol.

Katniss says that Finnick never needed to do anything for sponsors and that no other tribute could overcome his "natural beauty." – The Hunger Games Wikia

And as a fan myself, here are the actors whom I visualize playing the role.

ALEX PETTYFER from I Am Number 4, Beastly, In Time, and the upcoming film Magic Mike.

CHACE CRAWFORD from Gossip Girl

CAM GIGANDET from Twilight, Burlesque

And the relatively known Australian actor LACHLAN BUCHANAN whose features alone looked very promising for the role!

So who do you think should play Finnick Odair?

Join The First PhilPop Music Festival!

I’ve been trying to post something about the First Philippine Popular Music Festival but for some reason, I keep on forgetting it so with less than 15 days  before the deadline of submission of entries to this festival, I’d like to invite all the Filipino musician / composers out there to join the 1st PhilPop Music Festival. It is a songwriting competition open to all amateur and professional Filipino composers.

I’m actually interested to join the festival but I’m just really busy these days. I’d probably join next year though – hopefully.

The competition aims to: a.) Provide a channel which Filipino songwriters can create new songs, discover new expressions or genres in popular music; b.) Spark a renewed awareness, enthusiasm, and pride in Philippine music; c.) Start a brand new collection of freshly created Original Pilipino Music; and d.) Discover and promote new Filipino songwriters and singers. – PhilPop

Goodluck to everyone!

My Globe Tattoo 4G Flash Review

I promised to write a review about the Globe Tattoo 4G Flash after my 120 hours / five days free trial upon purchasing the unit. That time was up last Thursday, and I have been using the dangle until now using their Supersurf service. I have to tell you, though, that before using the 4G flash, I’ve been using the regular Globe tattoo dongle boasting a speed of up to 3.6 Mbps for a year before this. I wasn’t very satisfied with the reception I was getting here in Cubao, so I figured that I’d have to look for something better. Plus, upon reading good reviews from fellow bloggers and seeing their extensive advertisements about their “new” and “improved services,” I ought to give it a try, don’t I? Their broadband has this new skin, and it’s pretty neat.

Upon plugging in the dongle, a 21.6 Mbps prompt will tell you about – perhaps how fast the reception the dongle is getting – or not.

It's very slow, but I just got to endure it for now. What I don't understand is that I am only getting 3G signals. My bad, perhaps since I am living here in "Cubao." (duh! I thought I should be getting better reception here - FAIL) What a laugh! I wonder which location has 4G? This dongle cost me around 1k+ (gotta check my receipt), and to be honest. There's not much of a difference between the old Globe broadband I'm using (up to 3.6 Mbps) to this one. I guess what I like most about this, though, is their prepaid surfing service. I've no plans of actually signing up for a plan which usually has a locked-in period, so their supersurf services' just great to use it. At the moment, I'm still not pissed with the service I'm getting, unlike the experience I've had with Sun BroadbandThat's a total nightmare! Anyways, I'll continue using Globe 4G flash for now and will tell you in the future If I'm still with them.

Here are the speed tests I ran at around 1:50 -2:05 AM (5:53 GMT), and the results are just ridiculous!

I did not know that Globe Tattoo's SUPERSURF SERVICES (Unlimited Internet) actually have a limit of up to 800mb per day. Wow! That is indeed UNLIMITED! Thanks! I was able to finish all my work because of this bullcrap!

I was very annoyed when I’m working on something and I received this message   -
Name:
Number:8888
Content:
GLOBE Advisory:Your data subscription for today has reached 800mb. Your remaining browsing hours will resume tomorrow subject to promo validity. You may opt to forfeit your remaining subscription to browse for P5/15 or you may dial *143# for FREE and press "CALL" to register to any surfing promo. To unsubscribe text SUPERSURF STOP or POWERSURF STOP to 8888.Guided by Globe Acceptable Use Policy. Visit http://surf.globe.com.ph/fup.

I tried restarting my pc but it took me a day before I was able to use their service again. Such a bummer!
