I've been watching the first cycle of the Philippine's Next Top Model hosted by Ruffa Guttierez on RPN and last night was the season's finale.
The last two standing are: Grendel Alvarado and Rina Lorilla
I've been rooting for Rina Lorilla because I've known her from the TV Shows Single by ABC-5 and Close-Up to fame by ABS-CBN.

this is the photoshoot for the "breast cancer awareness" where Rina wowed the judges with her penetrating eyes ultimately sending the message of the shoot.

In an anti-climatic second to the last episode a week ago, Rina thought she have already won but it was a surprise no-bearing photoshoot challenge and both girls went back to Manila to strut thier stuff for the final Runway Show with Grendel getting praises for her fierce catwalk while Rina's bubbly personality shoned. Rina however made a mistake by waving at her friends who are watching her in the runway. Such "action" made the judges realized that she may not be that serious in modelling.
In the end, Grendel Alvarado became the 1st Philippines' Next Top Model.
