So almost every movie buff I know of is waiting for this new Tim Burton- Johnny Depp team up of Alice In Wonderland! I thought the film is wickedly cute but wickedly weak! It's the usual Tim Burton flick when it comes to visual effects so that alone is a treat for all of you fans but for some reason, after watching the whole thing -- I immediately forgot most of the scenes -- goes to show that IT IS QUITE FORGETTABLE and pretty DISAPP --- you got my point aye?

Johnhy Depp is definitely the main star of the film but Helena Bonham Carter (The Red Queen) stole his moments. The head alone of Miss Carter in this film is wicked enough to make you laugh at her antics. Anne Hathaway's portrayal of the White Queen is quite funny as well. Very eccentric in an endearing way! Mia Wasikowska as Alice who reminds me of Clare Danes -- yes she reminds me of Clare Danes. And yes, that's it.

It's the dark version of this well-loved story ala Grimm Brothers with its catch of Alice naming the Underland-- Wonderland.

I'll give it a 7 out of 10 ratings for the visual treat and Helena Bonham Carter's impressive performance.
